Academy Award and Golden Globe nominee, Adriana Barraza, will direct the acting school created to develop the telenovela stars of the future

Miami, FL – June 18, 2007 – Telemundo, a leading producer of innovative and high-quality content for Hispanics in the U.S., announced today it will begin accepting applications on June 18 for "Taller Telemundo: Actores," an innovative educational program designed to train the next generation of Hispanic actors. The initiative is an extension of the already successful bi-coastal writer's program "Taller Telemundo: Escritores." Telemundo once again partners with Miami Dade College, North Campus to create the acting school, which will be directed by Academy Award and Golden Globe nominee, actress and director, Adriana Barraza.
The four-week application process begins June 18 and will close July 13, 2007. "Taller Telemundo: Actores" is open to aspiring actors over the age of 18 that are willing and able to relocate to Miami, FL for a period of approximately three months, beginning in September, 2007.
