Last Friday, September 7, a new Business Skills Workshop series aimed at providing information about networking, marketing, sales and organizational skills for busy professionals kicked off at Chamber South. The program is led by Ed Gorin, president of Gorin Communications, and Pat Morgan, executive and life coach of Smooth Sailing.
The workshops are held on Fridays at lunch at the Chamber office. The first one sold out. "It seems to confirm what I've been saying for years - that the business community needs and wants programming that helps them be more successful," said Gorin.
The subject for the workshop on Friday, Sept. 14, will be "What Your Business Card Says about You." There will be no workshop on Sept 21. On Sept. 28, the topic is "Cost-Effective Marketing."
To register for a program, call Nicole at Chamber South at 305-661-1621 or online at http://www.chambersouth.com/.
Cost is $15 for Chamber members and $20 for others, and if you want to assure a seat at future sessions, you can pay in advance for 5 programs and get 6.
