99 Jam'z Big Lip Bandit and Celebrity Night Club Promoter Michael Madd
have teamed up to raise awareness about HIV and Aids. Did you know Miami
ranks number 1 in the nation for new HIV/Aids cases?
This is a good story that affects our community. Please link the
following link to websites to spread the word about Wednesday's Safe Sex Celebration
On South Beach. ****
We will be doing our best to step up to the plate & increase awareness by educating our peers about what is going on with HIV & AIDS.
This is a great cause & even some other promoters that I don’t usually do business with have partnered up to help with this event on wed.
We can help make a change.

Book Club from Daily Candy- Into the Wild October 17, 2007
Beginner’s Luck
First Course Book Club Launches
Congratulations: Hooked on Phonics worked for you.
So why haven’t you read anything since that didn’t require you to take a pop quiz after each chapter?
Get back in the habit this month by signing up for First Course. The new book club series was created to attract the young and the reading restless (girls and boys) and show them that talking about a book doesn’t have to feel like school.
In fact, the only time you’ll have to raise your hand is for a refill on that glass of wine, which, in addition to appetizers, will be served during the meeting. The other twist: Every selection is one that’s recently been turned into a movie. For example, up first is Into the Wild, by Jon Krakauer.
That’s: Crak-ow-er.
First Course meets 7 p.m., Wednesday, October 17, at Books & Books, 265 Aragon Avenue, Coral Gables. To R.S.V.P., call 305-442-4408 or e-mail bookclubs@booksandbooks.com.
