Jazz at MOCA: Nicole Yarling
The Museum of Contemporary Art is one of the original venues responsible for South Florida's resurgence in Jazz. This week, the long-running series will feature vocalist Nicole Yarling, who is also an acclaimed violin and fiddle player. Her rich velvet voice is complimented by a masterful technical skill and her charismatic personality, with a style that ranges from jazz to rock to rhythm and blues and experimental. The monthly concert happens rain or shine and is always free and open to the public. Along with the concert, the museum's gallery will also be open from 7 to 10 p.m so take advantage of this last opportunity to see "Make Your Own Life: Artists In and Out of Cologne.".

“Raymonda”
The future stars of classical ballet represent dancers from the local scene and abroad. For this occasion former principals and soloists of the Kirov Ballet—Alla Osipenko, Tatiana Terekhova, Yelena Sherstnieva and Yelena Zabalkanskaya—have gathered at the Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida's headquarters along with Russian Ballet Master Vladimir Issaev to train the most talented ballet students in the Russian Vaganova Method. The performance is open to the public and general admission tickets are $15.

The Broward WishMakers, a group of business professionals, are hosting their 9th annual event featuring date packages with some of South Florida's hottest and most eligible singles. The proceeds go to grant the wishes of children who have life-threatening medical conditions through the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Florida. The doors open at 6 p.m., preview the auction at 7:30 and get ready to bid promptly at 8! There will be food and drinks and raffle prizes. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door (including two drinks).

Located on the lobby level, the restaurant has sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean. One-hundred percent of the evening's proceeds will go to Reach for the Stars, an organization dedicated to providing people and families afflicted by cystic fibrosis with resources, knowledge and support.
