Regional Corporate Communications Manager
JOB SUMMARY:
The Manager of Regional Corporate Communications for DHL Express International Americas (IA) will be accountable for creating programs that build understanding, goodwill and favorable top-of-mind visibility towards DHL. This will be achieved through the planning, organization and execution of regional corporate public relations programs and policies aimed at target audiences, both internally and externally -- with primary focus on the news media, leaders of opinion and DHL employees within the region. The geographical scope of accountability includes Latin America, Canada and the Caribbean .
Core initiatives include proactive tier-one media relations (both b2b and b2c), executive positioning/branding, DHL employee communication initiatives, social corporate responsibility, crisis communication/issues management preparedness, and reputation measurement/ROI. As such, this will be activated through the creation and implementation of programs, guidelines and standards to be adapted via his/her guidance and leadership of an in-country network of PR colleagues and agencies.
