The event promises nonstop entertainment in a festive setting from 7:30 p.m. to 1 a.m., featuring a magician, a face painter, a DJ and dancing, unlimited video game play, billiards and shuffleboard, and all-night buffets – all included in the admission charge of $59.99 for adults and $39.99 for children ages 5 to 12.

It's that time of year again, yelpers! And no, we're not just talkin' the holidays. Art Basel Miami Beach's eighth year is finally upon us, so get ready for an artistically-fueled, deliciously-odd rest of the week. Go ahead, call in sick to work, grab your most colorful outfit, and read through this Weekly as we paint you a pretty picture of the days ahead.

Treasured local museums will be dishing out an optical feast in the form of new exhibitions. Whitney R gets her fix of sweet, sweet eye candy at Miami Art Museum, a veritable institution for "innovative and contemporary art." And during Basel, be sure to catch MAM's unveiling of Shepard Fairey's new outdoor public art project! Meanwhile, Elizabeth P is "blown away" by Bass' "thought-provoking and unique" artwork, and you will be too – especially now, since Dzine has decked its halls with a blinged-out mix of street art and Chicano lowrider bike culture. Talk about hot wheels!

Joseluis A and other lovers of emerging visual work will be thrilled to know that Gen Art's Vanguard is setting up shop this year inside Aqua Art Miami in Wynwood for a booth-style fair concurrent with Basel. This is, of course, a very welcome addition to the art warehouse district that already boasts the Margulies Collection, Rubell Family Collection, and Bakehouse Art Complex – all of which will be flaunting their best! BAC will host bac:23 complete with a daily comped breakfast (so much for starving artists), and while you're in the 'wood, peek into Miami Art Space to see Satellite Art + Design's out-of-this-world show.

After taking in the magnificent mélange of fairs including Design Miami, Scope, and Pulse, prepare to party. Paula E admits she's "addicted to the Vagabond... it never gets old!" Be sure to pop in post-Basel to find "adventure lurking around every corner of this club." At the Viceroy, Talisha M feels as if she is in a whimsical "Alice in Wonderland dream," doubly delightful now that Art Viceroy has popped up! And lastly, a little birdie named Adriana D told us on Talk that she's really looking forward to the annual F*CK Art, Let's Dance party at the Electric Pickle. Shake it, yelpers – it's Basel time!

"A very cool and very free art gallery/co-op showcasing local talent. Don't get me wrong, museums are great in their own right, but I definitely appreciate modern/off-beat art as well.
