Renowned Italian Chef Gaetano Ascione serves fresh, simple and rustic Italian cuisine from across Italy. Everything is prepared using only the best ingredients imported directly from Italy, served alongside a hand picked collection of regional Italian Wine. Hors d'oeuvres to be served include:
Fried Arancine – fried risotto with Parmigiano cheese, saffron and orange zest served in individual cups
Mozzarella in carrozza – fresh mozzarella sandwich fried with anchovy butter
Assorted Bruschetta – tomato, Parmigiano cheese and Prosciutto
Mixed Olives and Parmigiano – Italian olives and cheese
Crudo of Scottish Salmon – salmon tartare served on ceramic spoon
Cappesante al forno – baked Coffin Bay Scallops in their own shell served with lemon and butter
