Our members constantly tell me how NWS nights are their favorite events, how they have become friends with “Friends,” or even found their significant others through NWS! It’s an amazing experience musically, socially and philanthropically, being part of and giving back to such an established cultural leader in the community. Don’t miss the next Friends of NWS event – VIBE – on Saturday, February 27. Start off the evening at the Lincoln Theatre with an edgy percussion concert featuring the works of Edgard Varese and John Cage*; this show will be an explosion of rhythm and energy.
Following the performance, we will head over to the gorgeous Maxine’s Bistro & Lounge for Grey Goose vodka cocktails, Barefoot Wine & Bubbly, light bites and a live musical show featuring Jude Papaloko and his drumming ensemble under the stars.

2- Saturday, March 20th "The Hearts and Stars Gala" at Casa Malinka
I am working on a charity event to benefit two very worthwhile causes The Little Lighthouse Foundation and Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida. In addition to all the good works they always do, the Ronald McDonald House is currently housing Haitian children and their families who were sent here for dire medical care.
I would greatly appreciate your support of this event by purchasing tickets. Tickets are $125 in advance and $150 at the door. HOWEVER, up until next Monday, Feb. 22nd I can get a friends and family discount of buy 2 get 1 free, meaning 3 tickets (worth $375) for the price of two ($250) basically getting 3 tickets for $83.33 a big savings.
Celebrities experiences such as golf with Lawrence Taylor, time with Romero Britto and others will be auctioned off! We have one of the ORGINAL FUGEES, PRAS, performing as well as a few other surprises.
