Position Overview

Bacardi USA is actively interviewing experienced finance professionals with strong financial mdoeling and analysis skills, to lead the financial planning, budgeting and forecasting for our field-based sales operations units.


The Finance Manager will act as a business partner to other business units and departments in the organization by providing financial analysis and value added business support. Individual is expected to facilitate and improve the processes to perform financial analysis in order to provide recommendations to senior management. Manager is expected to work closely with internal and external customers to understand their needs and provide relevant collaboration. This person is a member of the team that submits budgets and LEs. This individual may have full P&L responsibility for Tier 1 brands ($200M and above in Net Sales) or its equivalence.
• The candidate must possess excellent collaboration skills and demonstrate the ability to work cross-functionally at many levels within Bacardi. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) are essential.
• Compile, review, analyze and provide recommendations on key P&L components (i.e. depletions, billings, inventory days, distributor and retailer margins, pricing, cost of goods sold, advertising and promotion spend, market analysis, SKU profitability etc.)
• Gather financial information, generate reports that compare financial performance vs. budget, forecast and prior year.
• Ensure integrity and accuracy of financial information.
• Take leadership role in initiating, managing and executing ad-hoc projects.
• Active involvement in budget and forecast submissions and special projects including budget/strategic presentations as required.
• Collaborate with all departments, Customer Business Units and senior management on budget/forecast submissions, presentations and monthly financial performance reviews.
• Continuously look for opportunities to improve processes, identify issues and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Work with peers to develop standard analytical approaches/reports that can be applied across all brands.
• Manage and develop direct reports (between 1 to 3)
Minimum requirements and qualifications
• Knowledge / Skills - Ability to work independently and in a group environment. Advanced Excel skills are required. Working knowledge of other Microsoft Office Products, as well as Lotus Notes. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast paced environment. Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills a must.
• Work experience requirements - 5 to 8 years of related work experience in finance.
• Educational requirements - Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Finance and/or Accounting. MBA designation preferred.

Position Overview
Bacardi Ltd. is seeking an accomplished procurement professional to manage “indirect” purchasing for USA, Canada, and the Caribbean, and become accountable for the deliveries in the region. The goal is to identify areas of significant saving and improvement to Bacardi, as well as delivering their potential. This individual will need to develop a purchasing network, as directed the Global Purchasing Director, to be composed of different site/country representatives from the region, and other procurement peers, to reach a consensus on deliverables.



Duties & Responsibilities
• Procurement categories will consist of: General services (Furniture, Promotional, Supplies, Car fleet, Travel), IT and Telecom (Hardware & Software), HR Services (Recruiting, Temporary labor), Plant equipment (Capex, MRO) etc.
o Some other categories will be looked after by a global or regional category manager (e.g.: T&E) : in that case, the incumbent will need to influence and then support the implementation strategy as defined by the category Manager.
o Some categories will be managed by the incumbent, for the region, who will need to prioritize, identify saving objective and deliver the results. He/She will need to develop a strategy for the category and then drive its implementation with the help of peers.
• The incumbent will have to review the business priorities and agree with ones should be tackled first. The incumbent will therefore be involved in regular meetings with key region stakeholders. Then review the market place to look for alternative suppliers or renegotiate with existing. It is part of job holder role to challenge the business with best value for money solutions in the above mentioned areas having in mind that internal customer satisfaction is paramount.

• He/she will ensure that all agreed processes are used, i.e. legal involvement, use of leading edge tools such as e-RFx, e-auctions, etc. and all relevant monitoring is delivered such as project timing and saving reports.


Minimum Qualifications
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field, Master’s Degree preferred.
• Three to five years’ of purchasing experience is mandatory, ideally within indirect (non-manufacturing) purchasing area.
• Ability to work independently and in a group environment.
• Requires work in a flexible environment, including the ability to work at a distance with local, regional and global teams and travel.
• Strong analytical, leadership, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills a must.
• Fluency in English is required; fluent Spanish is desirable.

Position Overview
Bacardi USA is seeking an accomplished Treasury and Cash Flow Management professional to optimize cash flows and payment down of debt for our US operations.

The Treasury Manager will plan, direct and coordinate the Treasury operations for the US Company in conjunction with the Corporate Treasury Function, including the maintenance of a sound internal control environment and providing best in class financial services in support of business operations.

The position ensures accurate, timely and clear presentation of financial information and Company results in accordance with established policies and generally accepted accounting principles. The position is responsible for accounting and budgeting for cash flows, pensions, and remuneration.
Additionally, the position has regional responsibilities with regards to cash management, and pension plans for the North America Region.


Duties & Responsibilities
• Manage and control all functions in the Treasury Department for U.S. operations, which includes: daily, monthly, yearly cash forecasts and budgets.
• Act as a member of the Pension Committee and responsible for the accounting, reporting and funding of the DB and DC pension plans, 401k, SERP, LTIP, EARP, and post retirement medical plans for Bacardi USA and four related Bacardi Companies including financial statement preparation.
• Prepare cash flow and other financial reports for upper management.
• Member of the Global Working Capital Team for Bacardi Limited.
• Provide credit analysis on customers to ensure that line of credits is line with company’s financial standing.
• Main point of contact for North American Region with the company’s Global Treasury Department to manage regions overall cash and debt positions.
• Manage, maintain, and develop the use of banking and treasury workstation technology to provide best in class service.
• Manage and direct the day to day activities of corporate cash transactions including monitoring bank accounts, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit and collections.
• Manage, fund, and account for executive stock option program for US operations.
• Delegate authority for receipt, disbursement, banking, protection and custody of company funds.
• Evaluate need for procurement of funds
• Act as relationship manager with outside financial institutions.
• Managing the netting system for the US Market.
• Maintain the requirements needed for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance with Treasury.
• Responsible for the management and accounting of five company payrolls.

Minimum Qualifications
• Knowledge / Skills - CTP or CPA required, as well as strong technical skills including knowledge of US GAAP, detailed knowledge of best-practice business and financial processes and systems (including treasury workstations, pension plans, taxation, estimating and budgeting processes and process measurement). Strong presentation skills and leadership skills as well as a proven track record of developing staff are necessary to perform the position.
• Work experience requirements - 8– 10 years of finance/accounting experience, including a minimum of 5 years in the treasury/tax management and the remainder in industry experience managing a variety of financial processes and systems including cash management, tax, audit, accounts receivable, general ledger, accounts payable, budgeting and analysis, and internal control compliance.

Position Overview
Bacardi USA is seeking an accomplished corporate tax accountant to direct and oversee the tax policies and objectives of the US organization, as well as other North America subsidiaries, including Bacardi Canada and Bacardi & Co. in Puerto Rico. The tax director will monitor reporting and planning to ensure compliance with applicable tax statutes, and ensure accuracy of the tax returns and work to minimize the organizational tax obligations.

This individual will report directly to the CFO, and will serve as the primary contact with the global tax team and outside consultants regarding tax reporting and compliance matters.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Manages and direct the tax area for Bacardi USA and various North American subsidiaries.
• Manages and direct the tax accounting for Bacardi USA and various US subsidiaries.
• Manages the preparation and filing of all required tax returns in consultation with external advisors.
• Works with Global tax team in managing the “trading structure” and related matters, including transfer prices.
• Coordinates the preparation of annual transfer price studies in conjunction with the regional and global tax group
• Maintains the requirements needed for Sarbanes Oxley compliance as it relates to the tax area.
• Tax planning with the global tax team; provides guidance with the interpretation of US tax legislation.



Minimum Qualifications
• BS in Accounting or Finance, MBA Preferred
• CPA or CTA required, as well as strong technical knowledge of US GAAP.
• Knowledge of Canadian and Puerto Rican tax laws highly desired, but not mandatory
• 10-12 years of finance/accounting experience, including a minimum of 7 years in tax management and the remainder in industry experience managing a variety of financial processes and systems including cash management, tax, audit, A/R, A/P, G/L, budgeting and analysis, and internal control compliance.
• Strong presentation skills (verbal, written, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Strong leadership skills and a proven track record of developing staff.
