SoBe Music Institute's Summer Concert Gala

beginning at 4 p.m.

Kicking off back-to-back concerts is the "Music for Youth Concert," beginning at 4 p.m. and featuring students of SoBe Music Institute. Guests are encouraged to bring a picnic to enjoy on the grounds before the Faculty Ensemble Concert gets underway at 7:30. This performance features musicians from the Miami City Ballet orchestra, New World Symphony and other orchestras and professional ensembles and will be followed by a reception. Donations are welcome! SoBe Music Institute is the vision of Dr. Carson Kievman, former Composer-in-Residence with the Florida Philharmonic Orchestra. The organization strives to provide affordable high-quality arts and music education to all.

The acclaimed Brazilian pianist and composer, Antonio Adolfo, brings his exceptional music to South Florida. Adolfo possesses 22 years of teaching experience at his music academy, Centro Musical Antonio Adolfo, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The Brazilian Music Workshop will cover the history of Brazilian music including the history of certain instruments within the genre and Brazilian phrasing. Classes are open to all levels of students, including beginners and you being a musician is not a requirement to attend. Prices for classes may vary and there is a $10 reimbursable reservation fee.

Air Supply August 4 at Gulf Stream


Air Supply, one of pop music’s leading love song stylists, will perform their chart-topping hits “Lost in Love,” ”Every Woman in the World,” “All Out of Love,” “Here I Am,” “Even the Nights Are Better,” “Making Love Out of Nothing At All,” and “The One That You Love.”In addition to $10 general admission and $15 grandstand reserved seats, a new amenity will be offered to Air Supply fans: on-track VIP seats directly in front of the stage for just $25 each.
