This is a ground floor opportunity for a driven and experienced business operations director to play a key role in driving real change within the banking industry. The Business Operations Director will lead product and program management and be a key contributor to the successful launch of Bling Nation's innovative mobile payment technology platform. The team that successfully tackled on line banking and trading, video games, banking for the unbanked, is now turning its attention to its biggest business opportunity ever by disrupting the $140 Billion a year US payments industry with a proprietary delivery platform that capitalizes on the convergence of three of the most powerful trends ever to impact financial services. Bling Nation intends to move very quickly to secure a dominant position in this market over the next couple of years. Bling Nation has developed an open payment-clearing network (BlingLink) for financial institutions, making it possible for a wide range of devices to access BlingLink, including mobile phones and Merchant POS systems among others. The BlingLink provides the Financial Institution with the ability to clear payments at a small fraction of their current costs while providing a new set of services for current customers and services to attract new customers who have not yet settled on a long-term Financial Institution relationships.
Working in close partnership with the COO the Business Operations Director will immediately take ownership for leading our product and program management activities to ensure a successful product launch. Excellent communication skills and prior experience working with a variety of team members will be key as you interface on a regular basis with cross functional teams, and particularly our development team, to provide guidance and feedback on the product requirements and work closely with the business development team to develop and monitor our sales process. Your proven program management and client management skills will enable you to lead effective deployment of the Bling Nation solution at customer sites and ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget while your outstanding attention to detail and ability to follow up with customers will ensure that we continue to improve our service and products. Your technical knowledge will be key to success in this role and you must already have relevant experience in deploying payments and/or banking technology solutions at financial institutions (ideally with small/regional banks or credit unions) as this will quickly enable you to understand our technology and outstanding value proposition. Your willingness to be flexible combined with your hands on attitude will ensure that you quickly make an impact and become a highly valued leader within our company while your exceptional problem solving ability will be put to good use as you identify and resolve critical issues.
