Marlins Announce Community Sales Force Program

Let me know, a little extra cash!!

MARLINS UNVEIL UNPRECEDENTED COMMUNITY SALES FORCE PROGRAM

Miami, FL – The Florida Marlins today announced details surrounding a first-of-a-kind sales program called the Marlins Community Sales Force (MCSF). This sales program will provide an opportunity for individuals (18+ years old) who are currently out of work or looking for a new source of income, to earn money by assisting with the selling of Marlins ticket plans. The announcement was made by Marlins owner, Jeffrey H. Loria.

“With unemployment and job losses where they currently stand in South Florida, I wanted to provide an opportunity for individuals and families to increase their income by partnering with their hometown ball club,” said Mr. Loria. “This program will allow participants to earn additional income, maintain and develop professional skills, establish new business networks and potentially earn a full-time position with our organization.”

General Overview of MCSF:

- Registration will start today and close July 19

- Program will commence on July 20, 2009 (orientation sessions for accepted applicants) and close on February 15, 2010

- Participants will be partnered with a specialized Marlins Sales Executive

- Commissions and bonuses will be paid on new season and group ticket sales

- Commission rates range from 5% - 10% plus bonuses

- Marlins will consider hiring top performers as full-time Sales Executives

In continuation of what the Marlins unveiled in March with the five Economic Relief Ticket Programs that included a Marlins Mortgage Payout, Workforce Mondays and Go Green, Get Green, this new initiative invites everyone to take advantage of a program that is unique to the sports world.

Those interested in joining the Marlins Community Sales Force can register on-line at marlins.com, in-person at the Marlins Executive Offices or Marlins en Miami store and during home games at Marlins Ticket Sales Kiosks. All applicants must complete and sign a Program Registration Form and return it to the Marlins by e-mail, fax, mail or in-person. Full program details and Registration Forms are available at marlins.com.
