Participating nonprofit leaders can take advantage of a free coaching session within 30 days after the
event. Participation is limited to:
Nonprofit CEOs, Executive Directors, or Presidents
Business and personal coaches that are members in good standing of the ICF Miami Chapter who have been certified as a professional coach or are near receiving certification
Professional coaches may complement a more traditional mix of consultants, board, and staff.
While the term "coach" is used liberally, the ICF defines coaching as being distinct from speaking or
consulting.
The coach's job is to provide support to enhance the skills, resources, and creativity that the client already has
Coaching is an ongoing relationship which focuses on clients taking action toward the realization of their visions, goals or desires.
Coaching uses a process of inquiry and personal discovery to build the client's level of awareness and responsibility and provides the client with structure, support and feedback. \
The coaching process helps clients both define and achieve professional and personal goals faster and with more ease than would be possible otherwise.
