Hi Changemakers -- If you were planning to enter our Pitch-Your-Project contest, remember that the deadline is TOMORROW, JULY 1. This is your chance to win $500 for a project to turn a space into a community place: a park, a playground, a district, a block ... No matter what, get feedback on your project from community leaders & changemakers!
Examples: * You want to start a community garden or a school garden. * You are planning a block party that will help neighbors discover ways they can swap/trade/barter items (tools, used clothing, toys, rides to work, etc.) * You are planning a campaign to make your neighborhood more pedestrian friendly. * You want to add a new element to a local neighborhood/street festival. * You want to make your local park more welcoming and accessible. * You want to start a Safe Walks to School program. * You want to bring neighbors together through a mural project.
