Music Nation wants to see how your life is powered by song.
We've been buddies with the Music Nation kids for a while. Why? Because they're kindred spirits; they provide a platform for fledgling artists to gain exposure, tools for bands to reach new fans and possible support structures, a place for music lovers to discover talent, and competitions with kick ass prizes.
And their new My Life Is Go! video contest, that we're helping judge, is no exception. All you have to do is turn your camera on and capture a short video clip or still image that illustrates how music affects your daily life. Maybe it's you dancing around in your undies to Morningwood. Or climbing a mountain with White Stripes blaring on your iPod. Or lip syncing Lily Allen on your daily commute to work. Regardless of how music fits into your day-to-day, we want to see why you're so passionate about it.
What's in it for you? The grand prize for best video (based on creativity, concept, execution and entertainment value), is a VIP trip to Sundance, which will include round trip airfare for two, two nights of lodging, ground transport and access to some of the festival's hottest parties (look for us at the SKY360 by Delta Lounge on Main Street). Yeah, we thought you'd be stoked. The deadline to enter is December 3rd, so get out there and start rocking out ASAP!
