SVP/VP Bus Dev NEEDED - Location Open‏

One of our clients has just launched a disruptive product in the market research industry. It is a technology product that solves the problem of fraud in online surveys. It already has several reference-able clients. One of the investors in Skype is also an investor in this company. Company is on target to quadruple revenues within the next year. Need to hire someone to lead business development. Candidates must have significant and recent experience selling market research to Fortune 100. Candidates must have strong relationships with the executives responsible for buying market research at Fortune 100 companies and with the decision makers of other top 50 Market research firms. (Title depends upon experience.) The Board expects this person to make at least a million in commissions. This is a key hire. Board is willing and able to put together the right package for the right candidate. The compensation package will include: base salary, bonus, and stock options There will be an emphasis on incentives for outstanding performance. The Board wants to hire someone who is highly motivated, self disciplined, and able to hit the ground running. Position can be located in any major city in the U.S. Must be flexible to travel frequently to New York City and the San Francisco Bay area. Must be comfortable working remotely. Need someone that is very good at just figuring things out. No excuses. Must be very goal oriented and ambitious. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: -- Must have someone with recent and significant experience building relationships and closing deals with the buyers of marketing research at Fortune 100 companies. -- Must have a well developed "Rolodex" of key contacts within some of the top 50 Marketing Research firms. -- Must have a well developed "Rolodex" of the executives that buy market research at Fortune 100 companies. -- Must have a record of quota over-achievement. -- Prefer someone with experience working in a dynamic environment, pure startup, startup within a large organization, spin-off, or an emerging market. -- Must be flexible to travel as necessary and wants to work in an fast paced environment. Someone who has a strong entrepreneurial drive and spirit is required.
