Free Self-Defense for Women

Free Self-Defense for Women classes will begin February 15, 2010 and be offered every Monday and Wednesday night, from 7:15 – 8:30pm, which is right after the yoga in the park class. Michael Muskat, a Black belt in several disciplines of Martial arts and who has taught at several Universities and lived in Japan, will be teaching the class. Classes are free and open at all times to new students of all levels of fitness and Martial Arts training. Lessons will be modified and adapted to fit every individual’s needs.

All classes will include a variety of: Strengthening exercises, Cardio and Ab workouts for weight loss, assisted partner stretching, flexibility conditioning, nutrition talks and Eastern Philosophy story telling in a fun environment while learning Martial Art techniques of self-defense. Students will lose weight, tone and strengthen their muscles, becoming healthier and fit in mind, body, and spirit in a beautiful outdoor setting while meeting neighbors and making new friends. Come and build your self-awareness and confidence and help yourself to de-stress.
