The Ritz-Carlton South Beach presents the 8th Annual Happy Hour for the Children's Home Society Back-to-School Drive. Donate in divine style with a complimentary glass of red or white wine, a cash bar, light hors d'oeuvres and luxurious auction items. Afterwards, you can enjoy dinner at the hotel's scrumptious Americana restaurant, with both indoor and outdoor seating. Ten percent of proceeds from this night's meals will go to the Children's Home Society. Children's Home Society is one of the oldest, largest and most respected private nonprofit foundations designed to serve children and families. The minimum donation is $20, and all proceeds will go to the Children's Home Society. Reduced valet parking rates are also included.

30th Anniversary Celebration Gala

The Center for Family and Child Enrichment is hosting a celebration gala to commemorate their 30th year of supporting the emotional well-being of children in Miami-Dade County. Their services and programs aimed at empowering troubled families and children touch the lives of nearly 5,000 people annually. Join supporters and friends of CFCE at this anniversary event. Enjoy cocktails and a silent auction, beginning at 7 p.m., followed at 8 p.m. by dinner and dancing to the sounds of the Shenita Hunt Band. Tickets are $125 per person, and attire is semi-formal. There are sponsorships available or visit the website and just donate to this worthy cause.
