HomeGrown: A Celebration of Florida Poetry

Friday, October 5, 6:30 p.m.
Florida—its flora and fauna, climate, seascapes, cultural mix, urban haunts and people—
provide rich inspiration to the poets among us.

Including: Sandra Castillo, Adrian Castro, C.M. Clark, Scott Cunningham, Lola Haskins, Carolina Hospital, Michael Hettich, Campbell McGrath,
Reginald Shepherd, Patricia Warman, and others!

Experience some of our own “HomeGrown” poets and their poetry in person.
Visiting poets will read from their work, mix, mingle and celebrate poetry with a decidedly local slant.

HomeGrown Music too!
Popular South Florida bandleader Eddy Balzola and his Afro-Cuban Jazz fusion band, Oriente,
is known for soulful melodies, vivid poetry and rhythmic drive.
