Sr. Manager, M&A and Financial Reporting

Are you ready for a highly visible Accounting leadership opportunity with a Global Fortune 500 Company?

Objective:

You will look at potential national M&A deals and determine the feasibility to acquire companies. Your team will go into the potential company, take a look at the books, and report back to Executive Team with recommendations as to what they should do.



Description

As part of the Financial Reporting and M&A Team within the first year you will:
· Lead the due diligence review process for Financial Reporting on potential acquisition targets for the organization
· Design and implement process that will identify potential accounting issues during negotiations and due diligence process
· Be a leader in defining the accounting issues and how they will impact the organization
· Define the direction to take regarding M&A activity
· Team up with Operations, Line Services, International and subsidiaries
· Improve the quality of GAAP research and documentation throughout company segments
· Will help to define standards for documentation of contracts and contract changes and how to account for such contracts
· Will work will all levels and all companies within the organization, including upper management
· Be part of one of the most dynamic and interesting Global Fortune 500 companies in the world

Qualifications:

In order to make a significant contribution to the Team, we will focus our job search on CPA's with extensive experience in US GAAP application who have been exposed to complex projects involving M&A activities. Prior experience in a Big 4 Accounting Firm is highly desirable.
