SVP/VP Sales NEEDED in NY-NJ area
We are conducting an executive search for a SVP/VP of Sales for a successful software company in Northern NJ. The company has a proven product and over 200 hospitals as clients. Company is already profitable. Client must have someone with recent and significant experience managing a team quota as a SVP, VP or Director selling enterprise solutions and/or enterprise software to hospitals. CEO wants someone who is wants to make well over $300k a year. This position will be the #3 person at the company. It is a key hire. Company is already profitable. The company has clients in the retail and hospitality industries too. LOCATION: CEO prefers someone already living in the NY/NJ area. Working remotely is not an option. CEO is open to relocating the right candidate too. COMPENSATION: The compensation package includes a significant base and bonus (50/50 plan). Plus, stock option plan. Excellent benefits package and 3% matching 401k. This is a key hire. The Board is willing to put together the right package for the right candidate. CEO wants someone with a history of success. Candidates must be able to show a W2 history of at least $250k per year. MANAGEMENT STYLE/CORPORATE CULTURE: Need a SVP/VP of Sales that can be very hands-on, roll up their sleeves and do whatever it takes to build revenues while building the company. Need someone who will be out in the field with the reps helping to close deals. Need someone that is very strategic and hungry. Someone who will make sure the company hits its revenue goals. Someone who leaves their ego at the door. Someone that knows how to work smart. This position reports to the CEO and will be the #3 person at the company. Basically, the CEO prefers to agree to a set of objectives making sure that the objectives are clearly outlined and understood by the individual, then let the individual execute the plan. But, there will be weekly check points to measure and achieve success. Individual must be able to go the CEO when in need of help. His door is always open. He will only hire someonethat is very entrepreneurial and passionate with a burning hunger for success; someone who remains focused on the goals. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: -- Must have someone with recent and significant experience managing a team quota as a SVP, VP or Director selling enterprise solutions and/or enterprise software to hospitals. -- Must have a well developed "Rolodex" of key contacts (CFO, Director of Patient Accounting, VP of Financial Services, CIO, CEO, etc) within Hospitals. -- Prefer someone with some experience selling enterprise software and/or enterprise solutions to companies in these industries. However, this is not an absolute requirement. Company has clients in the retail and hospitality industries too. -- Must have previously taken a company (or territory) with nominal revenues and grown it to phenomenal revenues within a relatively short period of time while in a sales leadership position. -- Must have a solid work history. Must have had less than 2 jobs in the last 5 years. -- Must have someone who can build a top grade sales team from the ground up. Someone who can ensure that the team has the best possible talent (A players) at each level. Structure comp & incentive plans. Coach and keep top talent and remove non-performers efficiently. Also establish sales processes, tracking and visibility. You will be fully in charge of your numbers, growth and hiring plan. -- Prefer someone that can bring some people on board that you have worked with previously. There will only be about 5 people reporting to you initially.
