As for the Director of Business Legal Affairs-The comp Is up to 135k and room for rapid growth for Executive Director Position. This candidate can reside in Los Angeles or Miami.
5-7 years Business Affairs experience in TV Production.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills, both written and spoken. Portuguese is a plus.
Experience writing and negotiating Production contracts.
Bachelor's in Business Administration and JD Degree.
Membership in CA and/or FL Bar is desired.
Position is to be based in either Miami or Los Angeles
This position will be negotiating, reviewing & drafting
(a) all manner or development and production agreements, including (for example) writer, rights, consultants, producer, director and actor agreements, all key crew and below the line agreements, location agreements, clearance agreements, and product placements
(b) format acquisition and licenses agreements, production/exhibition and co-production deals with international networks all related to international scripted and unscripted projects,
(c) managing negotiation and drafting of agreements with the appropriate divisions with respect to ancillary rights exploitations.
