An Alumni Event
In honor of National Eating Disorders Awareness Week (February 22-28, 2009), The Renfrew Center Foundation invites you to participate in a day of healing, hope, creativity, and inspiration on Sunday, February 22nd from 9:00am to 3:30pm at The Renfrew Center of Florida.
Naomi Feigenbaum, author of One Life: Hope, Healing, and Inspiration on the Path to Recovery from Eating Disorders, will be the keynote speaker at this event. She will read excerpts from her book, in which she shares her experience of recovery from an eating disorder and her journey though treatment.
This day of recharge and rejuvenation will focus on changing our perspectives on life events that have had an impact on how we view our lives and our sense of ourselves. Through use of music, movement and other forms of creative expression, participants will have the opportunity to examine their life scripts and create new directions for their own life stories.
