Account Manager, South East (Miami)
Position Description
The Account Manager is responsible for the achievement of AldeaVision’s sales goals through
the development and management of selected Major Accounts. His/her main responsibilities
include:
• Define and elaborate individual strategic plans for the Major Accounts.
• Promote AldeaVision’s services at Major Accounts. Responsible for delivering or
exceeding sales goals at these accounts.
• Devise strategy for increasing AldeaVison’s notoriety within media/audiovisual
marketplace.
• Create and maintain strong relationships with Major Accounts at the executive level.
• Responsible to deliver KPIs outlined within AldeaVision’s corporate objectives (major
account strategy, service sales strategy, gross margin control, cost per order analysis,
CRM update).
• Identify target prospects and develop and qualifying leads.
• Present sales proposals and close deals.
• Work with the customer support, inside sales, marketing and engineering teams to obtain
solutions that meet our clients’ needs, resulting in the internal dissemination of these
needs and input to future service developments.
• Provide constant feedback to AldeaVision on competitors’ activity, changes in
technology, and market trends.
• Prepare monthly Major Accounts reports, maintain and update the corporate CRM data
base to deliver accurate and timely sales forecasts, and provide lost business reports.
Position Requirements
• Preferably based in Miami.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Bachelor of Administration/Engineer, or relevant experience.
• Proven sales track record and over 4 years of experience in account sales management
in a telecom services organization, selling video and/or value added services to the
media / audiovisual industry (broadcasters, TV channels, content distributors,
production houses, video service providers, entertainment platforms, governments, etc.).
• Experience in business development and selling new concepts.
• Good understanding and experience in broadband (ATM, SDH/SONET, IP, etc …)
and Internet technologies and services.
• Good contacts and knowledge in the following sectors:
o Broadcast and media industry
o Telecommunications industry (fiber and satellite).
o Knowledge of trends, players and state of “content exchange” industry
development (beyond today’s broadcast sector) ie Internet related and similar
content environment developments.
• Knowledge of telephone networks and services, data equipment are valuable assets.
• Experience in multi-layered sales and major accounts.
• Ability to travel.
• Proficient with various software applications including: CRM (Netsuite, Salesforce.com,
etc.) and MSOffice Suite.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with quotas and key objectives.
