Sales director for Plum tv

Plum seeks a sales director to head up Miami Beach market. Must be well connected, revenue driven and a first rate ambassador to the Plum brand and mission. The role is that of ‘player/coach’ – both sales and sales management skills are critical.

Responsibilities include:
· Overall responsibility for meeting TV and web sales targets
· Plan, develop and execute multiplatform sales strategies, including but not limited to TV, Events and Web
· Develop own accounts as well as coach, motivate and develop sales team
· Write proposals, RFPs and presentations
· Expand advertiser base to new client categories
· Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly status reports
· Ensure coordination of client accounting with Plum accounting dept.and ad trafficking
· Manage ongoing accounts and develop relationships with existing clients to ensure highest quality customer experience
· Seek out multi-market opportunities and strategic alliances for our partners
· Maintain client database

Requirements:
· 10+ years of experience in media sales with key business, agency and end-users relationships
· Insight into the luxury lifestyle market
· Strong entrepreneurial drive
· Experience in training and managing junior sales staff to achieve success
· A proven ability to plan, develop, and execute on multiplatform media sales strategies
· Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals
· Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills with particular emphasis on presentation, analytical and sales expertise, and negotiation techniques.
