We are actively seeking an experienced Category Manager to join our growing team at our US Headquarters in Miami, FL.


POSITION OVERVIEW

This position will support the initiatives of our sales and marketing personnel by utilizing competitive data sources for analysis and presentations along with evaluation of brand performance and new product introductions.

The successful candidate will increase share of market presence using Category Management principles, through project work, and manage projects with retailers, distributors/brokers and aligned companies.

The candidate will utilize departmental software and data (i.e. ACNielsen Workstation, Spectra, BIMS) to deliver data throughout the Company more efficiently and provide additional insights to the brands for use in chain markets and the Marketing groups. 30% – 40% travel required within the U.S.A.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for this opportunity, you need to have a Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, Master’s degree preferred, and at least 2-3 years of professional work experience involving syndicated data (ACNielsen preferred) and data management and business/category analysis.

Necessary skills include expert level knowledge of MS Office Software, especially Excel (advanced formulas and functions), MS Access (queries and building databases), and PowerPoint.

Experience with merchandising software (Prospace), data management software (Data Alchemy), consumer demographic software (Spectra) and data linking codes (TDLinx) is strongly preferred.

Ability to work professionally with different management levels and multiple channels of business, experience with building and executing market strategies, manage multiple projects and requests through time management and satisfy internal corporate clients through professional customer service.
