Apply Now for the 2008 World YWCA Internship Program!


The World YWCA is looking for young women between the ages of 22 and 30 who have interest and experience in advocacy and communications in areas like human rights, sexual and reproductive health, HIV and AIDS, and violence against women for their one-year internship and advocacy internship. Please see the information below for more information on the program and the application.
All applications must sent to the World YWCA and received by September 24, 2007. If you have questions, e-mail communications@YWCA.org.

One-Year Internship
The one-year program (January 14 to December 12, 2008) provides a special opportunity for two young women to work as part of the World YWCA staff and volunteer team in Geneva, Switzerland.

Advocacy Internship
Four young women will be selected to participate at either the annual UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) in New York or the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva, Switzerland.
