DON'T JUST VOTE, PARTICIPATE IN THE PROCESS!

POLLWORKERS NEEDED FOR UPCOMING FALL ELECTIONS

Assist your community while earning some extra cash as a Miami-Dade County Pollworker. Positions are available at polling locations throughout the County for several municipal elections on November 6, 2007. If you are an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, people person, the Miami-Dade Elections Department wants you as part of the team! Training is quick, you get compensated for your time, and you'll be a first hand participant in the democratic process. You just need to meet these requirements:

U.S. citizen
Registered voter in Miami-Dade County
Speak, read and write English
Available for eight-hour, paid training session prior to Election Day
Available to work Election Day at the polls from 5:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. or until closing
Have transportation to the training session and the polling place
