Special Volunteer Opportunities

PLEASE NOTE: These are not Hands On Miami volunteer projects. You will not receive volunteer hours from Hands On Miami.
The Girl Scout Council of Tropical Florida, Inc. is looking for volunteers!
Girl Scouts are in need of volunteer troop leaders to work with a group of girls; you choose the age-level and meet with the girls weekly for one hour. They are also in need of volunteers (male or female) in helping plan events, coordinating recognitions, recruiting members, fundraising, and much more. All volunteer opportunities are close to home at local schools and community centers.
Volunteers must be 18 years and older and a background check is required.

This is a great opportunity for college students to gain experience through service work and a special chance for parents to work directly with their child.
For more information, call (305) 253-4841 and/or visit www.girlscoutsfl.org.
