Market Grill- new restaurant- Daily Candy

High Steaks
Market Grill Opens

Price of a round-trip ticket to Buenos Aires to see Evita P’s balcony, sip malbec, and load up on bargain-priced leather goods? About the same as your maxed-out credit limit.

Price of a drive to newly opened Market Grill, an Argentine-style boutique meat market and gourmet food shop? Uh, how’s your gas mileage?

Take comfort in the joys of staying home by hosting a parrillada, or Argentine barbecue. Tell the butcher how many guests you expect, and you’ll leave with the right number of premium cuts — individually wrapped in a thermal bag, which will keep them cool for up to three hours.

While it’s being packed, stock up on freshly baked breads, artisan cheeses, pastries made from original recipes, and pantry goodies: specialty olive oils, teas, paella spices, and snacks.

It’ll still run way less than the cost of a plane ticket, and the natives (i.e., the owners) are friendly, food-loving enthusiasts.

So no need to cry for you-know-who.
