There is an extremely important (and fun!) event occurring this Sunday morning (March 30th). Thousands of runners and walkers will sweat and strut their stuff for 3.1 miles, all in support of eradicating homelessness in Miami Dade.
The Blue Cross Blue Shield Celebrity 5k (www.celebrity5k.com) for Community Partnership for the Homeless (www.cphi.org) kicks off at 8am on Watson Island (Miami Children's Museum off of the MacArthur Causeway) and finishes in Miami Beach with an after party following at Nikki Beach.
Community Partnership for the Homeless is an organization crucial to our community and is now viewed as the national model in its category. Please join me and the other members of the Next Generation Council on Sunday morning to celebrate CPH's success to date, to contribute to continuing its fight and to get your Sunday off to a healthy and beautiful start.
