Pale Reflections has a New Website
Pale Reflections (www.pale-reflections.com) is a complete online community for people affected by eating disorders. Membership is free and offers many features and benefits. Re-launching on Oct 1, 2007, the site will offer a wide range of tools and features for both members and non-members alike. Current members will be sent an email on Oct 1, 2007 containing instructions on joining the new site. Some of the features of the new site will include:

- Search for other members and contact them
- Post messages on over a dozen message boards
- Over a dozen 24/7 real-time, live chat rooms
- Instant messaging with other members
- Send and receive private messages to and from other members
- Adding contributions so that other members can view them
- Reading articles by professionals, authors, and other select individuals (with many articles being exclusive to Pale Reflections)
- All members can vote on the trigger ratings of message board threads, contributions, and news items
- Regular email newsletters
- A comprehensive treatment finder, complete with directions and mapping
- A calendar of worldwide eating disorder related events
- Members can receive email and SMS text message notifications, select their own avatar, and maintain their own comprehensive profile
- A large searchable database of links to other eating disorder related websites
- Members can vote in regular survey


Pale Reflections was started in July 1998 as an email newsletter and rapidly grew to have a subscriber base of many thousands of members. Milestones has been the primary sponsor of Pale Reflections since 2003.
