We are actively seeking a Director of Business Analytics for a Business Unit based out of Seal Beach, CA. This is a highly dynamic leadership position. Wine & Spirits industry Analytics experience is highly desired, CPG analytics a must.



POSITION OVERVIEW
• The Business Analytics Director will interface with Business unit Management, Marketing, and Distributors to deliver consistent and accurate business decision support, controls and insightful analysis in order to drive growth, and foster marketing strategy excellence in Business Unit execution. This is a regional leadership cross- function of our Consumer Insights/Business Analytics and Sales Departments, reporting to the Business Unit Managing Director, with a dotted line report to the Sr. VP of Business Analytics and Consumer Insights.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the integration and planning between HQ & Field as well as functional departments to develop analysis and fact based tool kits to move business forward
• Drive market intelligence into the business plan process and how we go to market at the local market level
• Working with all stakeholders to take a proactive and innovative approach to evolving analytical needs to impact business results.
• Collaborative leadership with Business Unit in transforming distributor capabilities and deliverables
• Identify gaps and develop processes to support excellence in content delivery
• Analyze all available data in order to develop fact based selling tools and business solutions
• Analyze impact of programs in key selling channels
• Monthly briefings to Executive Committee of business program and sales driver evaluation (KPI’s)
• Support monthly Business Reviews with stakeholders
• Evaluate the business performance against the analytic insights provided
• Build upon monthly analysis provided with a focus on future opportunities by identifying business variances and performance

• Incorporate local market program feedback in future analysis fostering sharing of Best Practices
• Analyze monthly report of distributor profitability & pricing working to identify potential opportunities for value creation
• Examine and identify resource allocation opportunities
• Lead the integration and planning between Bacardi & Distributor financial management, evaluation and reporting to ensure A & P effectiveness & efficiency
• Analyze integrated collaborative Monthly Report Scorecards By Market
• Lead the Business Plan process for Business Unit
• Elevate the standards and expectations for A&P effectiveness and efficiencies including ROI for Bacardi & Distributor
• Support monthly Distributor & Brand Business Reviews
• Proactively identify strategic opportunities & risks in collaboration with stakeholders to accelerate growth
• Monthly market analysis and assessment of competitors and market intelligence with a focus on the future and value creation
• Drive market intelligence into the business plan process and how we go to market at the local market level
• Monthly Budget & Financial Analysis of results
• Feed local market programs to the Shared Services Center with an eye on sharing of Best Practices

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Must possess proven Leadership experience and achievement in an Analytical role within the adult beverage industry.
• Must possess superior skills in analytical thinking, intellectual capacity, business acumen, and other related functional and technical skills.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and leadership skills.
• Ability to interact with senior and executive level management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field; MBA preferred.
