The 1st Annual Alyssa GoldBack to School Supply DriveAlyssa loves school so much. She is getting ready to start a brand new year of Nursery school this fall. She can't wait to go to school and continue learning to read, write, do arts and crafts and physical education just to name a few things. But how about all of the children starting kindergarten at Coconut Grove Elementary and FS Tucker Elementary school this year who can't afford to buy the supplies they need to start the school year? She was shocked to learn that so many of them show up each year without the necessary supplies to succeed in kindergarten. She had her mommy go to the schools and speak with the administrators. She got the list from the principals of the top items needed for each kindergartner to start the school year off right. She committed (together with her Mommy) to the schools administrators that she was going to help out.. Her promise was to raise the money, purchase the supplies and put together all 100 back to school kits just in time to hand them out to the most needy children at each school. She's used her own money to get started and she's asked her family and friends to help out too. She was happily surprised how so many people were generous and supported her cause. She's gotten donations already ranging from $5.00 to $100.00So far, this is what she's purchased for all 100 lucky kidso Pencil Boxo 24 Crayola Crayonso .7mm mechanical pencilo #2 pencils and extra eraserso scissorso glue stickHowever, time is running out and she still needs the following things for all 100 kidso notebookso papero scotch tapeo ruler o colored pencilso markerso backpackso uniform shirtsCan you help out?
