Overview:
Alsis Funds (www.alsisfunds.com) is an investment manager focused on the purchase and securitization
of whole loan portfolios in Latin America. The fund purchases loans backed by real estate, autos, and
consumer loans. The fund is seeking to hire a Financial Analyst for its Miami Beach office.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Provide support to the lead execution banker for the structuring and execution of whole loan
purchases and securitization transactions in Latin America.
• Play a critical role in day-to-day transaction processes including modeling/analytics, legal, rating
agency, investor marketing and client coordination.
• Prepare internal and external documentation associated with whole loan purchases and securitization
transactions, including rating agency and bond insurer presentations, investment committee memos
and investor marketing materials.
• Develop solid understanding of (i) rating agency methodologies; (ii) legal considerations; (iii) tax,
accounting and regulatory considerations and (iv) marketing/investor considerations.
• Work together with lead execution bankers in the new business origination process by identifying and
pursuing new opportunities to utilize whole business securitization structures in the context of whole
loan purchases.
• Prepare materials utilized in the new business origination process and participate in meetings with
current and prospective clients.
• Maintain active dialogue with portfolio sellers throughout the transaction execution process and
support the lead relationship banker in client coverage.
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree with honors from a well recognized institution.
• Excellent analytical and modelling skills.
• Good written communication skills.
• Excellent computer skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Commitment to achieve personal and team success in a fast-paced banking environment.
• Fluency in Spanish.
Salary Range: $45,000 - $60,000

Hedge Fund Head of Administration/Controller

Overview:

real estate, autos, and consumer loans. The fund is seeking to hire a Head of Administration for
its Miami Beach office.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Providing oversight of the third-party fund administrator.
• Performing detailed review of the determination of the monthly NAV by the administrator.
• Review of monthly management and incentive fee calculations.
• Budgeting for annual expense.
• Processing of monthly billing for the funds.
• Review of investor monthly statements prior to release.
• Providing vendor management of fund administrators and auditors.
• Coordinating of the annual audit of the Funds’ financial statements.
• Reviewing annual tax returns and related information.
• Manage office administrative functions with attention to detail and good people skills.
Requirements:
• A Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance.
• 2 years experience in administration and accounting for investment funds (hedge funds,
private equity funds, or other investment vehicles).
• 5-10 years experience in administration, particularly with small companies.
• CPA candidates preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish preferred.
Salary: $80,000.
