FAMILY FEST: Free Event at the Adrienne Arsht Center, this Saturday

Family Fest
Saturday, February 7 beginning at 11:30 AM
Parker and Vann Thomson Plaza for the Arts

Introduce the whole family to the performing arts!
Spend a day at the Adrienne Arsht Center for two FREE events filled with family fun. Starting at 11:30 AM., join us for Family Fest – featuring great engaging opportunities for parents and children while introducing "up-close" involvement in the performing arts. Enjoy family-friendly out-of-doors activities, performances, hands-on demonstrations, mini-workshops and so much more!

After Family Fest, come into the theater as the Miami City Ballet School dances an original story ballet that will thrill kids of all ages! Rich with dynamic dancing, adventure, action, and color-rich costumes and sets, the dance is a flight into the world of the tropical jungle, the seamy savanna, and even our modern urban jungle!

Performances:
Flute Sweets and Tickletoons - Little songs for little kids.
Shana Banana - Family Music! Family Fun!
Father Goose - King of the Dance Party, an energetic blend of family friendly reggae, rap, folktales, funk, and calypso.
