FROM WIND TUNNEL TO TAILFIN: STREAMLINING THE AMERICAN AUTOMOBILE—Cultural historian Phil Patton, author of several books including Open Road: A Celebration of the American Highway, addresses how streamlining served as design inspiration for some of America's iconic automobiles. Members free; $10 all others.

Friday, March 20, 6pm
DECO AND DESIGN TOUR—This two hour adventure begins with a walking tour of the Art Deco District, then moves inside to explore American Streamlined Design. Limited to twenty participants. RSVP and advance ticket purchase required: 305.535.2644 or education@thewolf.fiu.edu. Tour begins and ends at The Wolfsonian. $10 for members; $20 all others.

The Dynamo Museum Shop offers a selection of carefully selected, unconventional gifts, books, and films, much of it inspired by The Wolfsonian's collection of modern objects from 1885-1945. The Dynamo Café features a sophisticated menu in a casual and artfully designed setting, also inspired by the themes of the museum's collection.
