Big 10 Happy Hour - Wednesday, Sept. 30th

The annual awards are presented at the NAA Leadership Symposium to Clubs recognized for certain areas of achievement, such as event programming, membership, communications, finances, scholarship, etc. For the SEFL Club to win "Club of the Year" for 2008 is a great honor because this is an award for overall excellence out of all the NU Clubs!!!



The Club's trophy will be at the Big 10 Happy Hour displayed in all its glory!!! Hope you will be there (wearing purple) to raise a toast to our Club's win! The Big 10 Happy hour details are below.

Sunday, October 4, 2009 is the 2nd Annual Big Ten Alumni Golf Challenge at Boca Country Club. (72 people attended last year) Following the tournament join the group for a chicken and ribs buffet dinner at the "The Grille on Congress" a few blocks away, for prizes, drinks and dinner.

You and friends can play in this "4-person Scramble" outing. Everyone, whether they play or not, are welcome to attend the dinner afterwards. Golf is $50 & Buffet dinner is $25, inc. tax & tip. Cocktail Hour at 5:30pm. Dinner @ 6PM. Please email or call Doug Maran at illinoisalumni @ yahoo.com

Directions: Just north of Clint Moore and west of Congress, (entrance across from Costco). From the south, take I-95 to Yamato west. Turn right at the light at Congress. Just past Clint Moore, turn left at the light at Boca Club Blvd. Drop your bag and park; From the north, take I-95 to Atlantic west, Congress south, right on BCB.. From turnpike - From the south, exit on Glades east to Jog. Go north to Yamato east. Then Congress north to BCB. From north, exit at Atlantic east; take Congress south; take a right at BCB.

(For those of you who missed them at the Broward Center last year, it was a wonderful performance.)
