Just when you think Old Man Economy's got everyone down, a new place pops up to reinvent your restaurant routine! Miami yelpers have been driving all over to keep up with each and every grand opening in our fair city, and we've got the reviews to prove it. So what and where are these tasty new culinary gems, you ask? Read on, hungry yelper, then eat on!

Fill up on Midwestern comfort at Chicago's, praised by Illinois native Sarah S for "authentically representing the hot-dog and Italian-beef strata." And from across the sea and around the globe comes Chu's, serving up dim sum, sushi and traditional Taiwanese dishes. Whether Jennifer W's "in the casual dining area just off the open kitchen, in the formal dining room with some tatami areas, or hosting a private dinner in one of the three small party rooms," she considers this Coral Gables hot spot to be "Asian cuisine at its best."

Mr. Chow inside the W keeps the Far East flavor flowing in South Beach. Martin O wraps his chopsticks around tasty rice paper-wrapped prawns, but it's the crispy beef that truly captivates his taste buds. Rather keep it simple? Dan R appreciates that the accurately-named "Burger and Beer Joint doesn't get too frou frou," but does promise "$10 burgers that will be delish, cooked right and served properly." Liz R thinks Cheeseme, a make-your-own "grilled cheese paradise open 'til 5am is genius," and we tend to agree. But there's more – like Monte Cristos, Dagwoods and donut ice cream sundaes. Cheese-us!

Longtime La Loggia fans can now sip cocktails into the night at sister restaurant Tre. It offers some of the best from the old family spot, like Cynthia M's fave La Loggia chicken salad, with some new-world twists, later hours and a twelve dollar brunch – perfect for your wallet and your belly. At the Filling Station, you can load up on sandwiches with names such as Julie's T-Bird, Speedracer, Gran Torino, or Jose G's pick: Beth's Ferrari. It was the freshly-baked cookies, though, that really revved his engine: "They were warm, melt-in-your-mouth, gooey, yumminess." Vroom! And just over the bridge, Irish eyes are smiling on Brickell at the newly-opened Waxy's located on the Miami River. Yeleny S recs recovering with the "hangover-worthy menu" and yelps, "This just may be my new place to watch the Fins kick butt this season." New restaurants, FTW!

JEAN MARC D. on Soleá
"I am somewhat jaded when it comes to dining at a hotel restaurant, especially when it is a W Hotel property (see Todd English's Olives @ W Union Square) While they attempt to bring fine dining to their signature dining experience at their hotel, they have to remember they are catering to a hotel…"
Vanessa S. on Brickell Irish Pub
"Friday, I'm in love!

I'm not usually one for the crowded, loud, watering holes... but when I walked in and saw the band playing top 40 covers I melted!

The atmosphere consisted of Brickell's finest citizens but in a refreshingly laid back atmosphere.... everyone was just singing along with the band…"
Goldie L. on Botequim Carioca
"3.5 - good food
My hopes are high here because literally they are a hop, skip, and a jump from me and few are the Dining Establishments in walking distance AND one grows tiresome of delivery. The location is fantastic so it should be a success. Really all you need to provide is consistently good…"

"Now that I've moved to a new neighborhood, it's time for a new list. Here are some of the places I love and plan on frequenting now that I've moved into the heart of South Beach. While I'll miss my good ole 41st St favorites, I'm excited to explore a new neighborhood!"
Another South Florida Burger List
"Since I'm new in town and I havent made one yet. Here is another burger list for South Florida people! Its not quite done yet and it will be updated but this is my list as it goes along my quest."
