TITLE: Resource Director-LA Region



QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
* Minimum of 3 years experience in Services and related operations
* Minimum 3+ years experience in project management and/or capacity planning



RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Resource Director – XX Region will serve as an integral part of the regional team responsible for resource planning and execution to meet customer and business metrics.

* Key member of the Global Resource COE team to ensure optimum utilization and movement of resources as required to meet the total Power Services business goals.
* Single point of contact for immediate resource needs
* Develop long range forecast for region/COE resource needs.
* Develop and execute short and long-range resource plans based on resource forecasts and business commitments, including recruitment, skills reviews, and resource development through advanced level training.
* Provide leadership to ensure business meets financial goals by driving unassigned time and field engineer utilization metrics.
* Administer service activities to meet region and the Operations COE objectives.


DESIRED:

* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred.
* Knowledge of Power Services information systems.
* Demonstrated success in prior project or program management.
* Computer literate with Word, Excel, and Power Point.
* Must be able to travel within and outside of the US. (25%).
* Knowledge of Power Services systems
* Green/Black Belt certified (GE Employees Only).
* Field Engineer Program Graduate
* Strong customer service mindset.
* Proven ability to lead in a global environment.
* Proven ability and track record to produce and deliver results.
* Exceptional communication and team building skills.
* Demonstrated leadership, organizational and planning skills.
* Team Builder/Team Player.
