"LIVING IN A GLASS HOUSE: THE MAISON DE VERRE IN THE TWENTY FIRST CENTURY"—Architectural historian Robert Rubin addresses the restoration of, and family life in, the Maison de verre—a private residence designed by modernist Pierre Chareau in Paris in the interwar period that has been described as a poetic, exquisite machine. Free to members and students; $10 all others.

FAMILY & EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM

WORKSHOP: DESIGN DIMENSIONS—This three-part workshop encourages high school students to envision a better world and take responsibility for making it. Students work with local artists to explore the impact of propaganda and advertising. They'll then create film, posters, broadsides, and billboard concepts.
