The 34th Annual COLDWELL BANKER MIAMI BEACH FESTIVAL OF THE ARTS is rapidly approaching! This year’s festival dates are February 9th & 10th, and will once again be located on the magnificent Ocean Terrace (east of Collins Ave between 73rd and 75th Street).
The 2008 poster, designed by Alfonso Fuentes, will be officially unveiled in January at the Poster Unveiling Party. The Poster unveiling party, in cooperation with the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce, will take place January 24th at the Ronald W. Shane Watersports Center located at 6500 Indian Creek Drive.
The City of Miami Beach Fine Arts Board and Office of Tourism & Cultural Development encourage you to support this great event by participating in the 2008 Patron Program. As our local community Patron Program has grown, so has the quality and caliber of the artwork that has been showcased. Your patron purchase coupons are used to purchase artwork at the event and are treated like cash (similar to a gift certificate). If you plan on purchasing a piece of artwork at the Festival, become a patron and enjoy the additional benefits. Coupons unspent will support the growing “local artist program” for 2009.
As a member of the Patron Program, you are also entitled to additional benefits, such as invitations to the poster unveiling event, artist dinner, artist/ patron breakfast, a signed festival poster and name recognition in the official event program.
