LEBLON Brings Carnaval to Florida

Each February, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil enters the spotlight as thousands of revelers from around the world convene to celebrate Carnaval. Amidst the extravaganza of dancing, singing and partying, Brazil’s national cocktail, the caipirinha, made from cachaça rum, keeps everyone in a party spirit throughout this highly “intoxicating” cultural phenomenon.

Leblon will shatter the winter duldrums and reinvent the spirit of Brazil’s hottest nights in a series of Carnaval events in the U.S. These parties will have sizzling Samba grooves, mysterious masks, creative costumes, and will showcase the lavish sights and sounds of Rio. The signature drink of Brazil, the Leblon Caipirinha, will be the centerpiece of all the festivities.

Creative and delicious cocktails such as the KIKI, (Leblon, Grand Marnier, Campari, tangerine juice, apple juice and garnished with an edible orchid served in a martini glass) which will evoke dreams of summer, or the Honey Mule (Leblon, fresh lime juice, honey syrup and ginger beer) will entice drinkers to kick up their heels. The Amazonia (Leblon, St. Germain Elderflower, white cranberry juice, fresh lime juice, basil leaves and topped with Champagne) will be a culinary favorite and the Tiger Rouge (Leblon, Limoncello, Chambord, pineapple juice, lemon juice, raspberries, basil leaves and a splash of balsamic vinegar) will bring out everyone’s wild side.

If you can’t party the night away in Rio, let the Leblon Caiprinha take you there. A myriad of racy recipes will get the party started and Leblon can offer the top tips to create a Carnaval party at home or anywhere!
