Weekend Daytime activities January 11 2008

Saturday night is a whammy of activity options, but there's a lot of cool daytime stuff happening this weekend too...

- The Taste of the Grove is happening both Sat and Sun:

Coconut Grove once again opens its restaurants to the community with the Great Taste of The Grove in Peacock Park, this year for two days: Saturday and Sunday, January 12 & 13. Free admission. Over 30 restaurants/hotels are participating with dishes ranging from $1 to $8. Live music and children's activities. This year will be the best Taste yet, and a good opportunity to get to know the Grove and what it has to offer. 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day.
Location:
2820 Grand Avenue

- Target Global Beat at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County:

- Redlands Riot- good time to explore this very cool and unique region in our own backyard: www.redlandriot.com (even if you don't go this weekend, this website has a great map of attractions to do your own tour in the future).

Also...Miami City Ballet, Luciana Souza both @ the Carnival Center.....
