WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
This is a course on practical interviewing techniques. Workshop participants will bring in their own interviewing work and submit it to discussion and critique by the class. Doreen and I will act as facilitators, to assist students in their independent research and to lead the in-class workshop discussion. The goal is to get participants into the field doing real interviews and to hone their interviewing skills in workshop.

COST
The cost of the class is $150. Please bring the full amount to class on February 28. Make checks payable to "Dan Grech." Scholarships are available to those in financial need. Doreen and I don't want to turn anyone away.

ENROLLMENT
Enrollment will be capped at 15. Please reserve your spot by replying to this email (dangrech@gmail.com).

FUTURE SESSIONS
After this first session, we will take several weeks off to give participants a chance to conduct their interviews. We will resume our sessions in April.

DIRECTIONS TO WLRN STUDIOS

From I-95 North or South

Exit onto I-395 East (Miami Beach).

Take the first exit at US-1 (Biscayne Boulevard).

Make a Left (North) at the first light, NE 2nd Avenue.

Pass the new Performing Arts Center.

Make a Left on NE 14th Street.

Travel half a block. An alley to the WLRN parking lot will be on your Right Hand Side. (If you hit NE 1st Avenue you've gone too far.)

Tell the attendant you have a meeting at WLRN. There also is ample street parking in the blocks surrounding the studio.

From the Dolphin Expressway (Rt. 836)

Travel East toward Miami Beach.

Pass I-95.

Take the next exit for US-1 (Biscayne Boulevard).

Follow the directions above.

From all other directions

Get onto I-95 or the Dolphin Expressway/I-395 and follow the directions above.

From Miami Beach

Travel West over the I-395 (MacArthur Causeway) away from Miami Beach.

Take the first exit after the Causeway for US-1 (Biscayne Boulevard).

Follow the exit ramp until it hits US-1. Make a Right (North).

Pass the new Performing Arts Center.

Make a Left on NE 14th Street.

Travel one and a half blocks. An alley to the WLRN parking lot will be on your Right Hand Side. (If you hit NE 1st Avenue you've gone too far.)

Tell the attendant you have a meeting at WLRN. There also is ample street parking in the blocks surrounding the studio.
