Friends of New World Symphony is an organization of 800 members strong, with its core membership comprised of culture-seeking young professionals from Miami and New York City who support New World Symphony, designed to showcase world-class musicians, up close and personal, performing classical favorites and avant-garde fusions of electronic, hip-hop, jazz and rock. The New World Symphony is dedicated to the artistic, professional and personal development of outstanding young musicians. Our fellowship program provides top graduates of music programs in the United States and abroad the opportunity to enhance their musical education with the finest professional training.
The highlight of the night will be an eclectic performance by New World Symphony’s World-Class Fellows. This late-night show will feature classical favorites and showcase another side of their musical brilliance as they dive into other genres. The Fellows will perform a lounge vibe with sensual vocalist Jette Kelly, followed by an up-tempo Electronic Fusion with Composer Gabriel Pulido, and finally a rock star improve- jam with DJ Cassidy and NWS Fellows.
Guests will groove to the sexy beats of world-renowned DJ Cassidy, while sipping on complimentary cocktails in a beautiful, modern and ambient setting. The gorgeous venue will have multi-media environments that fuse our musical performance and the art from Appetite Gallery. These vignettes are created by Juliana Iriart and Karin Idelson, of Appetite Gallery.
Regular tickets are $50/ person and include entrance to the private event, “THE SHOW,” cocktails and canapés. VIP tickets are $100/ person and include VIP seating and a photo with New World Fellows. Friends members receive two VIP tickets at no charge. Tickets will be sold at the door for $70 and $120 for VIP.
If you join Friends now for $250, you are not only helping the bottom line and contributing to the New World Symphony, but you will be invited to an exclusive event later in year and you have access to ALL Friends events in Miami, including Symphony Rocks the Runway with a fashion show by Just Cavalli; this is “The Winter Music Conference Party” that will rock on March 28.
