Now Hiring: Office Assistant and Retail Leasing Agent‏

My retail real estate investment and brokerage company, Evolution Ventures, is looking to hire an executive assistant and retail leasing agent. Please feel free to forward this to anyone you know that might be right for these positions, or contact me directly if you know of such a person.



Evolution is an investment and brokerage firm focused on retail opportunities in the dynamic, urban areas of South Florida. From Coral Gables and South Beach, to Las Olas and Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach, Evolution looks to transform retail landscapes, improving tenants, upgrading design and creating destinations.



Located on Lincoln Road in South Beach, Evolution has a fun, creative, entrepreneurial environment.



Executive Assistant:

Candidate should be hard working, detail oriented, professional, smart, friendly and excited to learn new things.



Responsibilities: Office administration; front desk & receptionist duties; internet research on real estate topics; travel and conference planning; executive assistance to company’s two principals; accounting and legal administration (training provided, no previous knowledge needed). Candidate will report directly to the two principals of the company.



Skills needed: Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, Internet. We will train candidate on Quickbooks. Bilingual a plus, but not required. Previous administration experience a plus, but not required.

Retail Leasing Agent

Candidate should be hard working, detail oriented, professional, smart, friendly and excited to learn new things. The Evolution leasing philosophy is different from that of other organizations. We believe heavily in teamwork, detailed research, large upfront investments in infrastructure and optimizing the experience for our clients and prospects.



Responsibilities: Area Canvassing; Tenant Rep: Candidate will find and represent local and regional tenants, helping them identify and lease space; Landlord Rep: Candidate will find and represent landlords to help them find tenants for their retail spaces. Candidate will perform all the tasks of a sales associate, including advising clients, marketing space and helping negotiate leases.



Skills needed: Sales Associates License; 1-2 years of previous leasing experience; Completion of at least 15,000 sf of retail leasing; strong sales and teamwork skills; and an entrepreneurial spirit.
