Bling Nation has developed an open payment-clearing network (BlingLink) for financial institutions, making it possible for a wide range of devices to access BlingLink, including mobile phones and Merchant POS systems among others. The BlingLink provides the Financial Institution with the ability to clear payments at a small fraction of their current costs while providing a new set of services for current customers and new services to attract new customers who have not yet settled on a long-term Financial Institution relationships.

Job Description: This is a ground floor opportunity for a driven professional to play a key role in driving real change within the banking industry. As the Business Development Manager for Bling Nation, you will take ownership for developing sales of an open payment-clearing network to small and mid-sized financial institutions in the United States. Working hand in hand with the VP of Business Development you will have the potential to directly influence our long-term vision and become a key member of our talented team as we launch our product and seek to dominate the mobile payment technology space.
Working closely with the VP of Business Development you will use your extensive experience of selling to community banks to reach out to potential customers and develop effective sales channels for Bling Nation. Your excellent communication skills combined with an impressive personal network of contacts within the banking industry will enable you to hit the ground running and successfully conduct an aggressive outreach program by conducting and participating in sales presentations and conferences. Attention to detail and a proven ability to analyze and resolve issues will be invaluable as you listen to customer needs and work closely with our client services team to build ongoing relationships that will reap immediate and future rewards. A successful track record of exceeding your sales targets within the banking sector, preferably in the $300mm - $5bn sector of the community banking arena, will clearly demonstrate your understanding of this market and ensure that you are able to employ a consultative sales approach that requires negotiation, follow through and ability to close a deal. Your willingness to travel as required to meet with prospective customers and attend appropriate conferences will be an essential part of this role as will your genuine enthusiasm for meeting people and helping to build our customer base.
