Le Boudoir Restaurant- Daily Candy

Tour de France
Le Boudoir Restaurant Opens

Binging on Nutella and enjoying a Vespa-driven tour of Paris (thanks, Jean-Luc, wherever you are) are your only memories of France. You blame three euro Cotes du Rhone.

One step into newly opened French eatery Le Boudoir and it’ll all come rushing back. On top of three dollar glasses of wine, there’s the scent of freshly toasted pain Poilane, the sight of authentic French pastries on display, and the sound of owner Vincent Benoliel’s lovely accent.

Chef Alain Dumas (formerly of the Coral Gables Westin Hotel) delights customers with Euro-inspired salads, toasty panini, and authentic specials like frog legs and ham and cheese croque monsieur.

Adorned with pink banquettes and chocolate walls, the eatery has a classic-meets-modern feel. No Vespas here — instead, delivery dudes get around in Smart cars.

Maybe you can even score a ride.

Le Boudoir, 186 Southeast 12th Terrace, Brickell (305-372-2333 or leboudoirmiami.com).
