YoPro's The Week Ahead: ART ON 50, BOXING, AND JAM AT MAM

ART ON 50Date: Tuesday, July 14 Time: 6:00pm - 8:00pm Cost: Free entry (RSVP required)Location: Viceroy Miami - Club 50 (50th Floor): 485 Brickell Avenue, MiamiThe Event: Engage your visual senses while you sip cocktails, savor soaring views and experience art on a whole new level at Viceroy Miami. Enjoy the works of Brian Burkhardt, a Miami-based artist who has spent the past decade as a sort of mad scientist, fabricating insects, plants, and marine life that appear to have been altered and adapted to human commodity and necessity; ranging from jellyfish that ring with cell phones inside their bellies to militant dragonflies that operate for the US government as miniature spies. BOXINGDate: Wednesday, July 15 Time: 6:30pm - 7:30pm Cost: Free for First-Timers to SFB Location: South Florida Boxing (South Beach): 715 Washington Ave., 2nd Floor, Miami BeachThe Event: Crank up "Eye of the Tiger" and get ready to join us for a power hour of boxing training. This full-body workout is taught by a professional boxing trainer, and features a 10-minute warm-up and stretch, followed by an intense 40-minute heavy bag workout, and ends with 10 minutes of ab work and a cool down (no sparring). The class is FREE for first-timers (to the gym) if you have a local ID (local to south Florida). To participate in the class, you must arrive by 6:15PM AT THE LATEST. Please bring a towel.
